PennDOT announced that resurfacing operations are planned on several state highways in Bucks County, under several ongoing contracts to repair, resurface, and improve state highways across the region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Bucks County
- Monday, April 6, through Wednesday, April 8, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place through the State Road and Gravel Pike Intersection in Bensalem Township for milling and paving.
- Monday, April 6, through Wednesday, April 8, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on State Road between Wharf Road and Station Avenue/Herringbone Lane in Bensalem Township for milling and paving.
- Monday, April 6, through Friday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Bath Road/Bristol Oxford Valley Road between U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and Business U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) in Bristol, Middletown, and Falls townships for milling, paving, and utility repairs.
- Wednesday, April 8, through Friday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Penn Valley Road between New Falls Road and Fallsington-Tullytown Road in Falls Township for milling and paving.
- Monday, April 6, through Wednesday, April 8, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Bustleton Pike between Lower Holland Road and Anthony Drive/Tanyard Road in Northampton Township for milling and paving.
- Monday, April 6, through Thursday, April 9, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Rushland Road between Zachary Lane and Walton Road in Warwick Township for milling and paving.
- Monday, April 6, through Monday, April 13, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place Sundays through Thursdays on Almshouse Road between Pennsbury Drive/Valley Road and Birdie Lane/Par Drive in Warwick and Doylestown townships, Bucks County for milling and paving.
- Monday, April 6, through Friday, April 10, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Route 313 (Broad Street) between Penrose Street and Franklin Street in Quakertown Borough for milling and paving.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
