Bridge Dedication – PFC Nathaniel E. DeTample

The Alden Avenue bridge in the Falls Township section of Morrisville will be renamed the PFC Nathaniel E. DeTample Bridge in his honor.

The dedication ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2026 starting at 11 a.m.

The organizers for the event are Lower Bucks County Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Penndel Hulmeville Memorial Day Parade Committee, Inc. and Falls Township Parks & Recreation.

From the organizers: Please join us and Falls Township honoring PFC Nathaniel E. DeTample on Wednesday April 22, 2026 at 11am to dedicate Falls Twp bridge in his name. Nate was a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, A CO 1/111th. Nate was killed in action during an ambush in Beiji, Iraq; on August 9, 2005. Come join Nate’s family, friends, neighbors, classmates and his unit memorializing Nate’s service and sacrifice. If you can not join us in person you can watch it live here on our Facebook page.
