Newtown Township Police Reports – March 27 2026 – April 9 2026
3/27/26
At approximately 2:30 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy pick-up truck operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Newtown Langhorne Road. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug equipment were discovered and seized as evidence, and the operator was arrested in connection.
At approximately 9:00 pm police were dispatched to a Newtown Township residence for the report of a burglary. As a result of the investigation, the stolen property was recovered, and an underaged offender was referred to the Youth Aid Panel.
3/29/26
At approximately 5:30 pm police conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Odyssey operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Richboro Road. As a result of the investigation, the vehicle was impounded, and a search warrant is pending.
4/2/26
At approximately 3:30 pm a Newtown Township resident contacted police to report that her wallet was stolen and fraudulent charges are now on her cards. The detective division is investigating at this time.
At approximately 4:15 pm police were dispatched to Ulta Beauty, located on South Eagle Road, for the report of a retail theft, not in progress. The investigation is ongoing.

At approximately 3:00 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Newtown Yardley Road and the Newtown Bypass. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

At approximately 9:30 am a Newtown Township resident contacted police to report harassment. As a result of the investigation, one subject was charged with Harassment.
