Burgled and “Wrecked” Bristol Gas Station Reopens

A Bristol Borough gas station was wrecked and burglarized last week reopened after damages were repaired;

The Valero Gas Station located at 906 Bristol Pike, was burglarized and “destroyed” as one source described the damage to Lower Bucks Source, last week.

Sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) entered the building by smashing the window on the east side of the building.  Once inside the building the suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into an ATM that was within the building.  At this time it appears a large number of tools were taken, said Chief of Police Steve Henry.

Station Manager, “Ricky” said that all the electrical wires were pulled out, along with a PECO gas meter that was removed, and later re-located by Bristol Borough Police in Silver Lake Park.

“They broke into the skills game too, damaged the mechanic’s garage, and for what?,”  the owner said angered by the turn of events

At the time,  station staff said they would probably be closed for up to two days for needed repairs and insurance investigators assess damages.
