According to the probable cause, one Bensalem Twp Police officer attempted to detain Evans who was intoxicated by huffing solvents while sitting in his vehicle’s driver’s seat. Evans physically removed handcuffs from his wrist and threw them under a vehicle.
Evans, police said, exited his vehicle and spit in the officer’s face multiple times while grabbing at his vest.
Evans also attempted to bite and scratch him, according to court records.
He ultimately ripped the officer’s uniform shirt while resisting arrest before being placed into custody, court papers show.
Evans is due back in court on July 2 to answer to the charges.

Wrong date was in article when he saw the judge. It says July 16. Had to be June 16. We are not in July yet.
