A Levittown woman apparently has a super special skill: escaping authorities and hospitals as she recently did, according to court records.
Laura Fake, 41 of Levittown was arraigned on charges of escape, flight, evading arrest and drug related offenses by District Judge Terrence Hughes on July 28, who set bail at 10 percent of $100,000.00. She is due back in court on August 11.
She spent approximately 10 days in jail and was released subsequent to her bail being lowered to unsecured by a Bucks County judge.
Tullytown Borough Police were dispatched on July 8 to the Wawa located on Levittown Parkway for a report of an unwanted female.
Police contacted the woman, later identified as Fake. During the encounter, she provided a false name and birth date, police said.
According to the criminal complaint, when asked if she had taken any substances, she said she had taken Xanax and produced a prescription bottle bearing her name. Verification of the information on the prescription bottle revealed her true identity and that she had an active arrest warrant.
She then fled the scene on a bicycle. After a brief pursuit, she was apprehended and placed under arrest on the active warrant, police said.
A search of her alleged backpack revealed three containers of alleged substances, police said.

Specifically, officers located one clear plastic bag containing a white, crystalline substance consisting of small, irregularly shaped white rocks. Officers also found a second clear plastic bag containing fine white powder. Additionally, officers located a small plastic container containing a brown, crystalline substance consisting of irregularly shaped rocks. The suspected controlled substances were submitted to NMS labs for analysis, and the laboratory report is currently pending evaluation, the probable cause alleges.
Fake was secured in the rear passenger seat of a marked police vehicle with her hands handcuffed behind her back. She is, according to public records, a small and petite woman.
While awaiting medical evaluation, Fake escaped from the patrol vehicle by maneuvering her handcuffs from behind her back to the front of her body. She then climbed out of the passenger side rear window, which had been opened due to the temperature.
Officers immediately pursued her on foot and apprehended her a short distance away. Fake was then transported to Lower Bucks Hospital.
Upon arrival, , according to police, she said she wanted to kill herself. As a result, she was subsequently placed under a 302 involuntary behavioral health commitment.
The following day Lower Bucks Hospital notified police that Fake had pulled another magic trick; she somehow escaped from the facility and was at large.
Fake was taken back into custody about 20 days later. Additionally, she will face a probation violation hearing in October for an arrest for drug-related offenses in 2021.
