Bensalem Township Council approved a developers agreement for the Chick fil A at the 1525 Street Road location for drive thru improvements at the Monday night meeting.
“The land development is to add additional canopies, curbing, striping for an expanded drive thru to serve the restaurant,” Township Solicitor Joseph Pizzo said.
Pizzo explained that Chick fil A had submitted the appropriate funds and documents for the fast food drive thru improvement project.
As one of the most popular restaurants nationwide there are frequent long lines at their drive-thrus, such as in the image above taken last week at the Street Rd location,.
Council approved the project unanimously.
On Facebook, Chick fil A of Bensalem said the drive thru will be closed from Aug. 10-17 for the project work to take place.
