A popular New Jersey tea company has moved into its new Bensalem world headquarters.
The Two Little Guys Company, maker of the Joe Tea brand, moved into its 1300 block Adams Road site last week, greeted by the community and officials.
Earlier this year Two Little Guys was approved for a 15-year, $1.22 million loan through the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) to acquire their new Adams Road headquarters.
The loan facilitated the company relocating from New Jersey to Bucks County with plans to increase its operations and footprint at the new site. The total project cost is just over $3 million.
Joe Tea was founded in 1998 by Steven and Ann Prato in New Jersey, who began by selling pink lemonade from their car’s trunk. In the 28 years since, the Joe Tea brand has grown to feature 30 flavors of iced tea and lemonade, as well as chips, popcorn, and a range of other snack foods.
Bensalem Township Council President Ed Tokmajian Jr. greeted company representatives to Bensalem and toured their new corporate offices.
“Great visiting Joe’s Teas and welcoming this well-known brand to its new home here in Bensalem,” Tokmajian Jr. said.

The Council President said partnerships like these are what help make Bensalem a community where businesses want to invest, grow, and call home.
The move into the 22,245-square-foot will expand the company’s headquarters by about 70 percent, officials said, with plans on doubling its workforce over the next few years by adding between 20 and 25 jobs.
