“The place where ideas are made,” the Morrisville Borough Public Library, will close beginning Saturday, September 5th, for renovations, officials announced recently.
The renovation project includes new paint and flooring, and mural wallpaper, to the former Episcopal Church that looks over the 300 block of N. Pennsylvania Avenue.
New furnishings will also be a part of the renovation project borough engineer Jacob Rigg, of Gilmore & Associates Inc, said.
A spokesperson said updates on the work and its completion will be posted to the libraries social media accounts and website
In a related library item, interim Borough Manager James Dillon, said a new library director has been hired.
The new director, who wasn’t named publicly, will begin assisting the construction team with library developments and layouts starting in mid-September, said Dillon.
