A 38 year-old man is facing three counts of reckless burning charges after a fire he set apparently spread to a vehicle at a Fairless Hills car dealership lot last month.
On Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at approximately 2:42 a.m., Falls Township Police were dispatched to a vehicle fire at the Dependable Auto car dealership, located at 351 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills. Police units arrived to find a 2010 Land Rover SUV fully engulfed in flames.
According to the probable cause, police reviewed video surveillance footage showing a male subject at just past 2 am walking away from the burning Land Rover on the Dependable Auto Lot.
The male suspect, police said, had a distinct gait and was wearing dark colored clothing. He was later identified as, 38 year old, Harrison Andress.
Approximately thirty minutes later, at 2:35 a.m., Andress is seen on video surveillance footage at the Fairless Hills Garden Center, located at 636 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills. He is seen removing pre-packaged firewood from a stacked pallet display and walking off camera frame.
The affected area off camera frame was a wooden framed structure. There was kindling arranged to start a fire. The pre-packaged firewood was placed around it to catch fire after the kindling burned. The prepackaged firewood pieces exhibited black charring consistent with burning. An other camera view shows Andress removing three loose pieces of firewood and carrying them away. Andress is seen walking toward a tractor trailer. These pieces of firewood were found arranged in a manner as if a fire was being set up. The firewood was placed near flattened and stacked cardboard boxes. These cardboard boxes were sandwiched between two wooden pallets.
At approximately 10:48 p.m., Falls Twp. Police Corporal Ryan Murphy observed a male matching Andress’ description walking along New Falls Road in Falls Twp.
Cpl. Murphy conducted a pedestrian stop on this individual, who was positively identified as Andress.
According to court records Andress had two active unrelated arrest warrants. He was taken into custody under the authority of those warrants.
Andress had a flashlight, a Bic lighter, and a book of matches on his person when he was taken into custody, police said.
He was arraigned by District Judge John T. Galloway last week on the reckless burning offenses and was remanded to the custody of Bucks County Correctional in lieu of 10 percent $250,000.00 bail with his next court date set for October 7. He has no attorney of record listed, according to court records.
