Morrisville Stepfather Charged for Rapes of 10 yeart-old Step Daughter

A Morrisville man was charged and jailed Monday accused of raping and sexually assaulting a child.

District Judge Jan Vislosky arraigned Cory Hegelein 32 of Morrisville on one count rape of a child, one count aggravated sexual assault of a minor, one count statutory sexual assault: 11 years or younger, one cout indecent assault, one count corruption of minors and and a related offense. Vislosky set bail and 10 percent of $975,000.00 and he was sent to Bucks County Prison.

According to Falls Police last November they attended an interview with the victim and a child advocate organization with regards to the possibility of inappropriate sexual contact with an adult. In the interview the child victim disclosed the week before, November 18 and had been raped again by her stepfather, Hegelein as recent as one week ago. The suspect, according to police was 10 and the suspect 31 at the time of the interview.

The victim told police that on some days she stays with her mother and the suspect and their home in Lower Makefield. Police ran the mother and suspects name through a state database for address and identification purposes, court records show and they were able to confirm the addresses of both as 1 Makefield Road.

According to court records, the victim told police Hegelein calls her into his room and sticks it in. This has happened more than once the 10 year-old victim told police and as most recently as the week before.

During the most recent rape incident, she was in her room playing with her brother when Hegelein called her into his room to “snuggle” according to police. The little girl told police that if she doesn’t go to his room he turns off the internet. When the girl entered the room the suspect took off his clothes. She told him to stop while he was taking off her clothes . She was wearing baby yoda pajamas and his clothes were on the bedroom floor, police said in court records.

The child described Hegelein’s penis to police in detail. She told police when he sticks it in it hurt and explained in detail that the suspect penetrates her “pikachu” with his penis, police wrote in court records.

The child was asked by the police what her “pikachu” was and she explained it was used to pee. She told her police the suspect was standing by the side of the bed with her back on the bed and when the alleged rape ended Hegelein told her to go into her bedroom, according to the criminal complaint.

Police interviewed the little girls brother who was able to confirm his sister’s movements and added that Hegelein would call out to the victim “come in her so we can snuggle.” Additionally police were able to find out the alleged rapes have been happening for at least two years prior to when the victim was 8 years old. Moreover investigators also confirmed the child’s mother works overnight and was not present during the alleged rapes, court records show.

The victim, according to the criminal complaint, told police of other instances where she was allegedly raped. One being while she was taking a shower, and after he penetrated her a white she saw a white substance come out and was wiped off with a red towel. She additionally alleged he stepfather showed her pornographic images on his digital devices.

Police executed a search warrant locating, clothing, towels and other items she was wearing during and after the alleged rapes. Those items were submitted for biologic testing by police to the Pennsylvania State Police lab, court records show.

Meanwhile, Police interviewed Hegelein who denied his daughter’s allegations stopping short of calling her a liar, telling police she has an active imagination, court records show.

Police were able to match DNA taken from the blanket matched Hegelein ‘s DNA and the victims profile.

Police were also granted a search warrant to download Hegelein ‘s cell phones On it they found pornographic images and a video a what appeared to be a man masturbating in a room with what appears to be the same computer desk and black box, with red lettering as the one in his home.

Hegelein was taken into custody and arraigned Monday morning at 12:45 pm, according to court records. He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on September 20th, at Falls Township District Court.

Hegelein has no attorney of record as of this story posting.

Soliciting Without Permit – Homestead Dr. & Wrightfield Ave. reported at 3:39 p.m. Complainant reported solicitor for Victory Home Remodeling soliciting without a permit. He was advised to cease soliciting until a permit was obtained.

Retail Permit – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegmans reported at 3:35 p.m. Loss Prevention reported on 1/31, two unknown males entered the store and removed $1,235.14 worth of alcohol without paying. Investigation ongoing.

Disorderly Conduct – Oxford Valley Rd. & Rt. 1 reported at 11:55 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. The 19 year old male from Levittown, PA was cited for Disorderly Conduct.

Fraud:

700 block of Township Line Rd. at Jubilant Pharma reported at 2:15 p.m. Complainant reported one of their merchants advised their accounts had been compromised and provided a different account number for an $82,368 payment. It was later discovered that the merchant’s account was hacked and the money was wired to an unknown account.
1400 block of Windrow Ln. reported at 3:50 p.m. Complainant reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft advising that their account was compromised and they needed to send $24,950 to catch the individual responsible. The individual realized this was a scam before sending money.

A check in the amount of $10,083.54 was sent to the insurance company but work was never performed and they are not responding to phone calls or emails.

Disorderly Conduct– Oxford Valley Rd. & Big Oak Rd. reported at 12:00 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana. The 26 year old female driver from Lawrence, NJ was cited for Disorderly Conduct.

Criminal Trespass – 500 block of S. Dove Rd. reported at 2:47 p.m. Complainant reported known person, who was previously trespassed from the property, was seen on surveillance carrying items that were stored in the shed. The 28 year old female from Philadelphia, PA was summonsed for Defiant Trespass and Loitering & Prowling.

Retail Theft – 1600 block of Big Oak Rd. at Kohl’s reported at 3:15 p.m. Police responded to the Kohl’s Dept. Store for the report of a Retail Theft. Loss Prevention reported that a unknown subject selected nine (9) Fitbit watches and subsequently left the establishment without paying for said items. Total value of items taken was $1,439.91. ***UPDATE*** With the assistance of video surveillance footage and pawn shop records, Detectives were able to positively identify a 23 year old male from Orlando, FL as the individual involved in the theft. A Felony Arrest warrant was issued for the male on 1/28/2026.

Attempted Fraud – 900 block of Baron Dr. reported at 2:46 p.m. Complainant reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office stating their family member was arrested and needed to be bailed out. The complainant realized this was a scam and disconnected the phone call.

Attempted Retail Theft – 900 block of Vansant Dr. at Wegmans reported at 4:13 p.m. Loss Prevention reported observing an unknown female on live CCTV concealing merchandise. When she was approached by Loss Prevention, she left the cart and fled in a vehicle. The value of the concealed merchandised was $321.31. Investigation ongoing.

Credit Card Fraud– 400 block of Lenape Ln. reported at 1:02 p.m. Complainant reported unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of $740.33.

Drug Arrest – Rt. 332 & Stony Hill Rd. reported at 11:01 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of Oxycodone and Marijuana. The 51 year old male driver from Philadelphia, PA was arrested for Possession of Oxycodone and the 49 year old male passenger from Philadelphia, PA was cited for Disorderly Conduct.

Identity Theft – 1300 block of Brentwood Rd. reported at 12:04 p.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) used their passport to pick up a cell phone that they purchased.

Wanted Person – 1700 block of Dobry Rd. reported at 11:22 p.m. Police received an LPR hit for a Wanted Person. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 28 year old male driver from Morrisville, PA. He was wanted by Bucks County for Failure To Appear. He was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was taken into police custody.

Fraud – Unit block of Beechwood Ln. reported at 9:41 a.m. Complainant reported unknown person(s) used their PayPal account to purchase tickets for a San Francisco 49er’s game.

Wanted Person – Oxford Valley Rd. & Mill Rd. reported at 10:25 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A records check revealed the 55 year old male driver from Philadelphia, PA was wanted out of Philadelphia. He was taken into police custody.

Drug Arrest – Oxford Valley Rd. & Rt. 1 reported at 4:32 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of marijuana. The 19 year old male passenger from Philadelphia, PA was taken into police custody. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Police across the commonwealth are warning consumers looking to purchase vehicles online about an uptick in reports in which thieves are using social media based sites to sell stolen vehicles.

Police departments across Pennsylvania are seeing an uptick of cases in which criminals are using channels like Facebook Marketplace to sell stolen vehicles, often with counterfeit titles or falsified paperwork, law enforcement officials say.

At least one investigator reported, investigators say, that of the vehicles recovered, almost none of them exhibit signs of tampering or damage.

Be cautious and help protect yourself:

Verify Vehicle History: Always check the vehicle identification number (VIN) and run a full vehicle history report.
Avoid Cash-Only Transactions: Use traceable payment methods and meet sellers in safe, public locations.
Inspect Carefully: Look for signs of tampering and never buy a car without confirming its ownership and documentation.

And always remember, authorities say, if something doesn’t seem right, trust your instincts. Stay alert, stay safe, and don’t let a quick deal turn into a costly mistake.
