PennDOT Scheduled to Fix Potholes on Area’s Roadways

Credit: Submitted

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that PennDOT maintenance and contractor crews will be repairing deteriorated pavement on more than 50 state highways, starting Monday, March 11 2024, across the Philadelphia region.

The work locations in the area are:

Bristol Township – Radcliffe Steet and Edgeley/Woodbourne Road

Falls Township – Pine Grove Road/Yardley-Morrisville Road

Tullytown Borough – Fallsington Tullytown Road

Other sections of Bucks County are:

Bedminster and Plumstead townships – Kellers Church Road

Bedminster Township -Elephant Road

Northampton Township – Bridgetown Pike

Warminster and Warrington townships – Bristol Road

PennDOT will also be fixing potholes next week in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent, said PennDOT.

Motorists are reminded to slow down in the work zone and refrain from distracted driving to keep themselves and our workers safe.

PennDOT  would also like to remind motorists that potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads can be reported by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting www.penndot.pa.gov and clicking on “Submit Concern”.

Since January 1, 2024, PennDOT has used more than 1,250 tons of asphalt to repair potholes across the five-county Philadelphia region.
