The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday that stormwater improvements are planned next week on several roads in Bucks County under a $14.9 million project to upgrade stormwater management facilities on more than 90 state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, April 8, through Friday, April 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 332 (Jacksonville Road) between Route 132 (Street Road) and Steamboat Drive in Warminster Township, Bucks County, for paving.
- Monday, April 8, through late May, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 213 (Old Lincoln Highway) between Woodbourne Road and Wheeler Way in Middletown Township, Bucks County, for stormwater replacement.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. Local access will be maintained for road closures. The schedule is weather dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
