Governor Josh Shapiro and the General Assembly expanded the Property Tax and Rent Rebate program in 2024, making 175,000 additional households across Pennsylvania eligible for money back. Several cap increases made for 2024. If you haven’t qualified in the past, you may be eligible under the expanded guidelines, said Senator Steve Santarsiero.
Two events in May were announced by Santarsiero to assist residents with applications for the Property Tax and Rent Rebate program ahead of the June 30th application deadline.
