Bensalem authorities are continuing their push against thieves operating or planning to prey on local businesses.
The most recent thefts occurred at T.J. Maxx, authorities said late last month.
According to police on May 31, at approximately 2 p.m. an unknown black male entered the store, selected 30 pairs of shoes, and concealed them into two large suitcases. The shoes are valued at approximately $1,659. The suspect fled the area on foot without paying for the merchandise.
The second incident at the popular department store on the 1300 block of Bristol Pike occurred on May 29 around 7 p.m., authorities say, when two unknown females entered the store and began filling their carts with various clothing items, shoes, beach towels, and a hamper. Both females exited the store without paying for the items valued at just under $815.00.
