PennDOT announced construction is planned this weekend on U.S. 1 and Rockhill Drive under PennDOT’s $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- From 8 p.m. Friday, October 18, to 6 a.m. Monday, October 21, the ramp from southbound U.S. 1 to Rockhill Drive will be closed for reconstruction. Motorists will detour to the Street Road exit then west on Old Lincoln Highway to Rockhill Drive.
- From 8 p.m. Friday, October 18, to 6 a.m. Monday, October 21, a right lane closure will be in place on Rockhill Drive between Old Lincoln Highway and Neshaminy Boulevard for ramp paving.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays may occur.
