“It was amazing that they didn’t hit any other cars,” a witness said of the single vehicle crash that occurred Saturday night on I-295 near Langhorne .
Fire crews responded to I-295 in the Langhorne area for a reported single vehicle accident with entrapment and possible fire on the well traveled roadway.
An anonymous tip to Lower Bucks Source first alerted the publication to the crash. Several minutes later, Matt Kane said the accident was dispatched at 8:37 p.m. as an accident with fire and then upgraded to auto extraction at 8:48 p.m at mile marker 4.3.
Penndel firefighters said the vehicle was off the roadway with no fire however reported possibly two individuals entrapped. Firefighters used a cutter, spreader and a chainsaw to gain access into the vehicle as a second group of first responders with medics to gain access and to extricate the crash victims, said fire officials.

An on scene before crash witness said they saw the accident from beginning to end.
A car was driving at least 100 mph, weaved between cars, came on the side of my car and between the car in the other lane, literally driving on the dotted lines that split the lanes at 100 mph, and then swerved and drove off the road into the hill, flipping in the air landing in the grassy area where the vehicle came to rest on its back.

It was the scariest thing I ever witnessed. The car was flying, and it never braked, the witness said.
The Penndel Fire Company posted a video of the companies response to the scene.
No information was released as to how many persons were actually saved from the vehicle or their injuries by fire officials on scene
Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company, Newportville Fire Company, and Parkland Fire Company provide support at the scene, Penndel Fire officials said.
