Holding top spots in standings after week 8 are: While KC Chiefs remain undefeated, the other three division leaders are right behind the Chiefs in the AFC. KC holds at 7-0 while the Bills, Steelers and the Texans sit at 6-2 records. The NFC see Washington with a 6-2 record while the Lions are at 6-1, Atlanta is 5-3 and the Cardinals are even at 4-4.
Injury report from NFL.com from this week saw many injuries including the knees and ankles during the eight week. Some of the major injuries were:
- Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk suffered a fractured collarbone versus the Packers and will miss the remainder of the season, according to NFL Network Insider. Cornerback Ronald Darby (hip) and wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (chest) did not return.
- Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (neck) was was carted off, but had movement in all his extremities, outside linebacker Ogbo Okoronkwo (knee) did not return versus the Ravens. Cornerback Denzel Ward (head) was ruled out.
