County Coroners Office Achieves National Accreditation by IACME

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office is proud to announce its accreditation by the International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners (IACME). This prestigious achievement signifies the office’s commitment to meeting the highest standards of excellence in death investigation and forensic services. Bucks County becomes the sixth coroner’s office in Pennsylvania and the 43rd nationwide to earn this esteemed recognition. 

Accreditation by IACME reflects adherence to rigorous professional criteria in operations, facilities, training, and investigative practices. The process involves an extensive evaluation, including an on-site inspection by IACME assessors, to ensure compliance with 285 standards. 

“This accreditation is a testament to our dedication to serving the residents of Bucks County with professionalism, compassion, and integrity,” said Patti Campi, Bucks County Coroner. “It underscores our office’s commitment to transparency, quality, and continuous improvement in fulfilling our vital role within the community.”

Achieving IACME accreditation demonstrates the office’s alignment with best practices, ensuring the highest level of service to families, law enforcement, and the judicial system.
