A 26-year-old Bristol Township woman was surreptitiously recording her ex-boyfriend, the father of their child with whom she has an ongoing custody issue matriculating through the courts, earning the young mother a third degree felony charge of illegally intercepting communications.

On Saturday, January 18, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Bristol Township Police were dispatched to a Goodrock Road address, in Levittown, to meet with a victim for a domestic issue.

The victim told police that he discovered that his ex-girlfriend, Grace Wang, had hidden a black cell phone in the bottom of a baby bag that had been recording audio since approximately 9 a.m. and was still recording. The victim said he and Wang are in the process of arranging child custody for their daughter.

The victim said he was unaware he was being recorded and never consented to Wang recording him.

Police interviewed Wang who admitted, according to court records, she intentionally used the phone to record a conversation with herself and her ex. She placed it in the baby bag where it recorded audio at the victim’s residence for hours.

Wang is charged with a single felony count of intercepting communications and was subsequently released on unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear for a court hearing on February 18.
