Bristol Township announced its 2020 road paving schedule which launches Monday.
The Township Council approved the James D Morrisey, Inc bid of 1.9 million on the project earlier this year. .
12.7 miles of roadway is scheduled to be repaved, according to township documents.
The township since 2012 has invested millions in fixing roads throughout the municipality with current Council President Craig Bowen using the infrastructure work as part his reelection effort on campaign signs saying Paving the Way to a Better Bristol in one instance in 2013.

The infrastructure of the township had been eroding over time with some having no repaving done in decades. Repaving the roads throughout the municipality has been a focus for officials over the last several years.
The township was able to budget just under 2 million dollars for this years work since no work completed last year with focus the constructing of the Municipal Complex.
