A Trenton, New Jersey man is facing serious trouble in the days to come as he was charged and arrested for breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s Morrisville apartment and then getting into a brawl with her current boyfriend, slicing him several times with a knife, causing a three-inch laceration on his face.
Camilo Montero-Pina, 37, spent approximately nine days in Bucks County Correctional Facility and was released about five days ago after posting 10 percent of $100,000.00 bail. He is charged with single felony counts of burglary and aggravated assault, with misdemeanor related offenses.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Morrisville Borough Police responded to the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue, on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 11:50 p.m., for what Bucks County Radio dispatch reported to be a physical domestic in progress and was called in by one of the two victims on scene. Bucks County dispatch advised responding police units that the fight was between the caller’s current boyfriend and her ex-boyfriend, Montero-Pina, who was allegedly armed with a knife.
Police arrived at the scene and saw two men in the front yard. Montero-Pina was pinned down by her boyfriend, victim number two, on the ground, police said.
The female victim stood there talking on the phone. Responding officers asked if anyone was armed with a knife and the female victim stated that she was in possession of one. The ex-girlfriend told police she got the knife away from her ex-boyfriend. The knife, police said in court records, was a black utility blade.
The female victim identified her ex-boyfriend Montero-Pina as the man who wielded the blade. Victim number two was identified as her current boyfriend. After securing the knife, officers separated both parties and observed that the male victim was bleeding from his face, specifically the right cheek area.
The female victim told officers on the scene that her ex-boyfriend, whom she pointed to and identified, had broken into her apartment through the front window. She pointed to her front window which was completely pushed in with all the glass panes allegedly shattered by the suspect. Police then detained Montero-Pina with wrist restraints and advised Bucks County Radio that the EMS Squad was safe to proceed and that there was a male victim that needed to be assessed for a laceration to the face.
An officer spoke with the male victim who said he and the female victim were sitting on the couch hanging out and watching TV. Suddenly they heard loud bangs on the front door. Both he and the female victim stated that they knew it was Montero-Pina and they decided to ignore him. They stated that after several minutes of banging, one of the front windows was suddenly forced in causing it to shatter. Continuing, that’s when Montero-Pina allegedly entered the apartment through that window with a knife in his hand. The female said she ran over and attempted to stop the two from fighting but failed. The two men started fighting each other with the brawl moving to the front yard, according to court papers.
Montero-Pina allegedly had the knife in his hand, swinging his arm around in a stabbing motion at her current boyfriend. During the fight, the woman victim said, the male victim pinned Montero-Pina against her car while holding his knife-wielding arm. Since his arm was pinned, she ran over and grabbed the knife from Montero-Pina. She then secured the knife, and that’s when the other man wrestled Montero-Pina to the ground and held him there until police arrived, the probable cause alleges.
EMS personnel started to assess the male victim where it was discovered he had multiple injuries: a laceration on his face approximately three inches in length and stemming from the bridge of his nose over to about the center of his cheek. The wound was approximately 1/2 inch from his eye. He also had fresh bruising on the right side of his face, police wrote in court papers.
Officers also observed that his jacket had multiple slice marks on the right sleeve. Upon removing his jacket, another cut was located on his right arm specifically where the jacket had been cut, according to court records.
The male victim told police Montero-Pina bit him during the brawl. He showed officers a cut on his right inner forearm that had a minor cut. In addition, he showed what appeared to be a bite and teeth marks. He refused medical treatment and said he preferred to go to a Philadelphia area hospital himself.
Montero-Pina is scheduled to appear in district court on April 8 and, as of publication time, has no attorney of record listed.
