PennDOT announced resurfacing operations are planned on a state highway, under multiple ongoing projects to repair and pave more than 200 miles of state highways across the Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, March 17, through Monday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 213 (Maple Avenue/Bridgetown Pike) between Bristol Road and Old Lincoln Highway in Northampton, Middletown, and Lower Southampton townships for a maintenance hole adjustment.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Under this resurfacing and improvement project, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
