A 23-year-old Levittown man sits in county jail unable to post bail after being arraigned by Judge Terrence Hughes accused of driving a stolen vehicle and attempting to assault police officers with it at a traffic stop in Croydon last month with a second man also charged in the incident.
On Monday, April 21, 2025 at 11:18 p.m., Officer Adams was informed by Philadelphia Police that a stolen gray Jeep Cherokee was traveling in the area. It was followed by a gray Nissan Sentra. Ofc. Adams caught up with the Jeep and Nissan at Cedar and Main Avenues in the Croydon section of Bristol Twp. Both vehicles traveled south on Main Ave. and proceeded east on Second Ave. towards State Rd. Adams observed both vehicles pulling into Sunoco at 503 State Rd. in Croydon, the Jeep stopped at pump #15 and the Nissan parked behind it at pump #13, according to the probable cause.
Ofc. Adams observed both vehicles parked at the gas pumps and pulled in front of the Jeep at the gas pumps. This allowed space for the Jeep to maneuver if needed. Philadelphia Police pulled behind the Nissan Sentra with approximately a five-foot gap between them and the Nissan. Ofc. Adams activated his emergency lights and exited his marked patrol vehicle. Once outside his vehicle, he saw a bearded male in the driver’s seat of the Jeep. The male turned the Jeep back on and put it in reverse pinning the Nissan driver between his vehicle and Philadelphia Police. Ofc. Adams pulled out his service weapon and several times instructed the operator to turn the vehicle off. The Jeep’s operator then put it in drive and intentionally struck Ofc. Adams’ patrol vehicle on the front passenger side, police said in court papers.
The crash impact left the Jeep Cherokee with a flat front tire as it fled police and traveled south on State Rd. at high speed. The Nissan driver left the gas station and was grabbed by Philadelphia Police Officers Rafferty and Mazzoni. The male driver was identified as Tyler Perkins 23 of Croydon. Perkins was informed of what was happening and asked if he knew the male in the Jeep. He answered, “Yes, it was my girlfriend’s baby father Anthony Logue”. While placing Perkins in the rear of a patrol vehicle his personal cell phone began to ring and displayed a 267 phone number. Perkins stated that this was Logue. The phone began to ring again, but this time the call ID stated it was a Facebook audio call from “Anthony Logue,” said police.
Perkins said at the time of the phone call, “See I told you I’m not lying”. With the help of Sgt. Grow, Ofc. Adams looked at a drivers license photo provided by NCIC/PCIC and confirmed that the Jeep’s driver was Logue. Ofc. Adams was informed by police dispatch that Bensalem Police located the Jeep near Dunksferry Rd. The Jeep was confirmed by NCIC/PCIC to have been stolen in Middletown, but Logue was not on location. Officer Schidmt swabbed the Jeep for DNA before being towed away by Lykons.
Louge was charged with felony counts, of fleeing, receiving stolen property, three counts of aggravated assault, and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and related misdemeanors.

Perkins is no stranger to Bristol Township Police as he was sentenced about two years ago for terrorizing a Croydon family over a nine-month period of time. This publication was contacted the victims family members. Once the case was reassigned to then Detective Jason Mancuso, Perkins was quickly taken off the street, and jailed.
In this case he is charged with a felony count of conspiracy of receiving stolen property and a misdemeanor of use of possible instrument of crime with intent. He was arraigned by Judge Finello and released on unsecured bail. His next court date is tentatively scheduled for June 6 along with Logue in Bristol Borough District Court.
