A 29-year-old Bristol Township woman is in stable condition at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital Sunday after being struck yesterday by a pickup truck on Levittown Parkway.
On Saturday at about 2:15 p.m., a 48-year-old male resident of Levittown was driving his Dodge Ram Pickup Truck along Levittown Parkway in the area of Spur Lane, when he struck a Bristol Township female resident as she crossed the roadway, Falls Township Police said.
The preliminary investigation determined that alcohol, drugs or a medical emergency were not factors in causation, as the pedestrian crossed the roadway in an unsafe manner/location, said police.
She was transported to Jefferson Torresdale where she was listed in stable condition after receiving several fractures and a laceration to her head due to the collision, said Lt. Chris Clark.
