Bensalem Man Sentenced to State Prison for Child Endangerment and Indecent Assault
A Bensalem Township man was recently sentenced to state prison for the sexual assault of a young girl in 2002.
Sean R. Greer, 42, will serve 21 to 44 months in a state correctional facility, followed by a five-year probationary period. Common Pleas Judge Charissa J. Liller handed down the sentence on July 21, 2025. The sentencing comes after Greer pleaded guilty in April to charges of child endangerment and indecent assault.
The charges stem from incidents between May 1, 2002, and October 1, 2002, involving a 12-year-old victim. The investigation began in May 2002 when a referral was received regarding the sexual assault of a minor child by Greer.
Bensalem Township police said that during an interview with the victim, she described incidents of inappropriate physical contact with Greer. She also recalled previous instances of such contact, including one around Christmas 2001, when she was 10 years old.
A witness corroborated parts of the victim’s account, stating that on May 15, 2002, he observed Sean Greer in a compromised position with the victim.
The case also involved Greer’s admission of the victim’s molestation during a June 2024 interview with the West Orange NJ Police Department, according to a criminal complaint.
This case was investigated by the Bensalem Township Police Department Detectives and prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Monica W. Furber.
Bensalem Police Remove Another Pedophile from the Community
On May 3, 2025, Warren Batz, 37, of Slatington, PA, began a conversation on a social media dating app with a 13-year-old female. During the conversation, Warren Batz expressed interest in a romantic or sexual relationship with the child. He offered to pay the teenager $200 to “hang out” and “party for free,” and wanted to make her his “sugar baby.” He then requested nude photographs and explicit videos. The explicit conversation continued throughout May and June, and Batz asked the girl to meet him on multiple occasions. He encouraged her to sneak out when her mother went to bed.
The teenager eventually arranged for a meeting with him on June 24, 2025. Batz left his home and drove 70 miles to meet the 13-year-old. He brought a new iPhone with him that he said he would give to her so that she could secretly text him nude/explicit photos and videos. He arrived in Bensalem and asked the child to meet him in his car in the parking lot so that he could drive her back to his home. The girl could not leave her home at that time, so he returned home. Later that same day, Batz messaged her, stating that he was sad, upset, and feeling bad about himself because she had not met him. He asked her to send him an explicit video because that would make him feel better.
Bensalem Police obtained an arrest warrant for Batz. He was charged with unlawful contact with a minor, solicitation of sexual abuse of children (photo/video), criminal attempt sexual abuse of children (abuse material), criminal attempt corruption of minors, criminal use of a communication facility and luring a child into a motor vehicle. No child was in danger during this investigation.
On Thursday, July 3, 2025, PA State Police Troopers attempted to serve the arrest warrant at the home of Batz. There was no answer, so they went to his workplace in Whitehall, PA, took him into custody without incident, and turned him over to Bensalem Police.
District Justice Joseph Falcone arraigned Batz and remanded him to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $10,000,000 bail. He awaits a preliminary hearing on August 21, 2025 to answer said charges. His attorney of record
The Bensalem Township Police Department would like to thank the PA State Police for assisting with the capture of this dangerous felon.
