37 year-old Jennifer Harrold of Darby Pa was arraigned Sundy by on-call Magisterial District Judge Michael W. Petrucci on two felony counts each of altering checks, theft by deception and receiving stolen property and remanding her to Bucks County Correctional on ten percent of $20,000.00 bail
She and her husband Daniel stand accused of altering checks issued by the Bensalem based company Just Between Friends last Summer.
They both have court dates set for later this month to answer the charges.

Bensalem Police have arrested a Collingdale, PA husband, who is accused of altering checks written out to him for assisting with a business event.
Daniel Harrold 40 was taken into custody last week and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Michael W. Gallagher on eight felony counts relate trying to cash in a checks that he and his wife Jennifer allegedly altered.
According to the criminal complaint, Bensalem Police responded to the report of suspected checking fraud on Aug. 22, 2025.
Police spoke to complainant, who stated that she issued two checks as payment for services rendered during a business event she organized in July for her company, “Just Between Friends”. The checks were written for both Mr. and Ms. Harrold, and mailed together in one envelope sent out on July 26 to the Harrold’s home address in Collingdale, PA, the probable cause alleges.
The first check to Jennifer was originally written out for $118.33, while the second check written to Daniel was originally for $165, court records show.
On Aug. 7, it was discovered that both checks were altered and deposited at TD bank. The first check was altered to pay Ms. Harrold’s mother, Donna Weiss, for $1,018.33, while the check written out to Mr.Harrold was altered to be paid to an illegible payee for $1,065, according to police.
Police received surveillance footage from the TD bank ATM, where both fraudulent checks were deposited. The video depicts an adult female making multiple deposits at the ATM, as well as an adult male handing the female two pieces of paper resembling checks. Police were able to identify the Harrolds in the footage, as well as the victim who confirmed with police the suspects in the footage were her employees.
Upon speaking to police, Ms. Harrold allegedly admitted her involvement in depositing the fraudulent checks along with her husband.
Daniel is currently confined at Bucks County Correctional Facility with his bail set at 10 percent of $50,000.00 and has a court date set for November 26
His wife Jennifer, 37, has an active warrant out for her arrest on felony theft related counts and remains free in the community.
