A 36 year-old Bristol Borough man has been charged and arrested by Bucks County Detectives and the Bristol Borough Police Department for stalking his ex girlfriend, witness tampering, installing tracking devices on her vehicle and through Apple Air Tags and related offenses.
District Judge David J. Chichilitti video arraigned Sean Bronner Wednesday morning in cases filed by county authorities and borough police on felony charges of stalking, witness tampering, criminal use of a communication facility and related offenses.
Chichilitti set bail at 10 percent of 1 million for each case with hearings set for Jan 21.
Bronner was taken into custody by Bristol Borough Police on a PFA violation warrant, according to online court records last week.
Bucks County Detectives initiated the investigation into Bronner last May.
The victim is an ex-girlfriend of Bronner’s and they co-parent a child together, court records show, with both residing in Bristol Borough.
The victim told county detectives Bronner “is obsessed with me.”
Bronner has repeatedly violated PFA’s dating back to at least 2020, authorities noted in court papers.
Through investigative methods authorities were able to confirm the victim’s claims of Bronner using some sort of tracking device because he kept showing up at locations in the area she did not share with him.
The “Land Sea, Air” tracking device and through Apple Air Tags, is how Bronner was tracking the victim’s movements. The tracking device was reported to Bristol Borough authorities in August and custody of it was transferred to police in October.
Investigators with help from the victim, said when she was notified of an Apple Air Tag, she engaged a feature that would emit a sound that would alert law enforcement she was being tracked by Air Tags
Investigators were able to confirm the tracking device(s) and Air Tags directly back to Bronner through a series of search warrants served on the companies who crated the tracking mechanisms.
A summary of the stalking/tracking incidents are below.
- On August 9, 2023, she obtained a Final Protection From Abuse Order, issued by the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas and signed by the Honorable Robert Baldi. This order contained the same file number as the December 2020 order.
- On or about October 30, 2025, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office received information relating to allegations of harassment and stalking involving parties known to one another. The alleged actor in this incident was identified as Sean Leigh Bronner. Both subjects reside in Bristol Borough, Bucks County, PA.
The information received by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office included multiple police reports in which the reporting party was the complainant. These reports are summarized as follows:
- 07/21/2025, Bristol Borough – She reported that Bronner was in violation of the PFA, as he had been following her and showing up where she went.
- 08/24/2025, Bristol Borough – She discovered a tracking device attached to the rear bumper of her personal vehicle. She advised law enforcement that she had observed Bronner driving in the area where she was shortly after she arrived in said area. As such, she believed Bronner was involved in the placement and monitoring of the tracking device she found. The device was identified by the Bristol Borough Police Department as a LandAirSea tracking device, serial 22500308.
- 08/25/2025, Bristol Borough – She reported driving her vehicle and receiving an alert on her Apple iPhone that an Apple AirTag was traveling with her. At the direction of law enforcement, she engaged a feature which could make the detected AirTag emit an audio signal. Law enforcement used this sound to locate the Apple AirTag taped to the frame of the vehicle’s undercarriage. Bristol Borough police seized and secured the Apple AirTag, model A2187 & serial HGCPPHGGP0GV.
- 10/02/2025, Bristol Borough – She met with the Bristol Borough Police Department to transfer custody of a device reportedly found by Blair Automotive. The device was identified by Bristol Borough Police Detective B. Davis as a LandAirSea GPS tracking device, serial 8882451294 (face of the device), 82451294 (on interior component). She also took pictures of Bronner outside her vehicle on October 2, 2025. She was operating her vehicle at the time, with their son in the back seat.
- 10/03/2025, Bristol Borough – She flagged down a Bristol Borough Police Officer in front of the Bristol Borough Police Department. Bronner and her were together, visibly arguing. Bronner advised law enforcement that he wished to visit his son and was told by her that he could. Bronner reported that she repeatedly violated the active PFA by appearing at his residence. She was spoken to, and reported that it was Bronner that was following her. She believed that due to Bronner’s ability to find her, he had placed another tracking device on her car.
- 10/09/2025, Bristol Borough violation of the PFA order. Per the reporting party, Bronner left an item outside of her home on October 9, 2025. When she exited her home to retrieve the item, which was for their son, Bronner pulled up in front of the residence in his vehicle and was beeping the vehicle’s horn at her. Bronner surrendered to law enforcement on October 14, 2025.
- 10/20/2025, Bristol Borough – Bronner reported the reporting party as at his Otter Street home and stabbed him with a knife. This incident reportedly occurred on April 3, 2025. Bronner provided three (3) videos he recorded of the incident to the Bristol Borough Police Department.
- 10/29/2025, Middletown Township (Bucks County) – She reported having her vehicle in for service. During the service appointment, a technician reported finding a tracking device affixed to the vehicle’s undercarriage. The tracking device was identified as a LandAirSea GPS Tracker, serial number 8882476629.
- 10/30/2025, Bristol Borough – She reported seeing Bronner by the rear of her residence. While providing information to the Bristol Borough Police Department, she visually observed Bronner parking approximately a half-block away, looking in the area of the police department. Bristol Borough Police made contact with Bronner, who reported that he was in the area to serve paperwork on the mother of one of his children who was not the reporting party in this case.
Each of the discovered tracking devices were discovered affixed to the reporting party’s 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which is owned and registered to her.
The detective also received information related to repeated blocked phone calls to her phone occurring all hours of the day and night. In several of these blocked number calls, a voicemail was left. She reported that the subject speaking in the voicemails was Bronner.
On December 30 Borough Police were contacted by the victim who reported Bronner was allegedly violating the PFA again through phone calls and text messages.
The victim provided police with alleged evidence of the repeated unwanted communications. She told police she lives in fear of Bronner and wants an end put to the terrifying situation.
Bronner as noted above was taken into custody on a ICC warrant (Indirect Criminal Contempt) which is a court proceeding for someone accused of violating a court order, most commonly a PFA order.
