Bensalem Police Arrest 4 in Crash Through Burglary Attempt

Bensalem Police have arrested three men and one male minor for a Burglary in which a wall was smashed to get into a local business Tuesday morning. 

Thomas Dennis, 18,  Joshua Laboy-Rivera, 25 and Heyzer Perez-Maldonado, 18 and were charged with burglary and related offenses  arraigned by District Justice Joseph Falcone, Tuesday.  The three Philadelphia men were sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $125,000 bail. 

According to police, the incident occurred at the Fun Center Sports Shop, located at 2639 Bristol Pike. a little after 2 a.m. 

Bensalem authorities responded to an alarm activation and upon arrival observed fresh damage to the exterior doors and building of the business. Police said a vehicle was possibly used to crash through the doors to make entry to the sports motorcycle business.  

 

 

Authorities say the suspects caused extensive damage to the doors of the structure as a result of the crash-through. Police noted the  c U-Haul Truck might have been used to smash through the building since officers found a side view mirror from that type of truck.

Police say, once inside the building, the suspects removed at least seven high end Yamaha and Kawasaki dirt bike style motorcycles.  Each one had an estimated value of $10,000.00 by . 

The stolen merchandise and building damage is estimated to be over $100,000.00.

Information about the minor involved in the incident will not be released per state law.
