Updated: Car Splits in Half in Two Vehicle Crash At Bristol Park Entrance

Two vehicles crashed, with one splitting in half at the mouth of Bristol Park Plaza Tuesday evening with two motorists suffering minor injuries.

The accident caused the front end and car debris scattered over Rt 13 in Bristol Borough just after 6 pm last night.

Two were reported with minor injuries, Chief of Police Joe Moors said as the investigation into the early evening crash is “active and ongoing” he said.

A two-car crash on Rt 13 in Bristol Borough led to one vehicle in flames and second with its front end landing in the back parking area of McDonald’s Tuesday evening.

One source in the area of the crash said the first vehicle slammed into a red Mustang “breaking it in half” and exploded into flames.

Images sent to Lower Bucks Source show the front end of what looks the front end be of one of the two vehicles being in front of a Bristol Borough Firefighter. The red Mustang remained in the middle of the busy roadway just beyond the Bristol Park Shopping Center, while first responders redirected motorists.

No official word on any injuries, witnesses said a woman escaped the wreckage unharmed.  Bristol Fire and Police officials were not immediately available for comment.

Motorists are advised to approach the shopping center area with caution form both directions as public safety officials investigate.
