Cops: Armed Woman Robber Hits Levittown News Stand

An armed woman robber hit a Falls Township newsstand in the Levittown section.

According to Police the robbery occurred Thursday morning at approximately 8:24 am, at Levittown News and Tobacco, on 411 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, in the Fairless Hills Shopping Center.

The would-be woman robber is described as a white female, 30’s to 40’s, with a thin build, and standing approximately 5’6″ tall. She was dressed in all black, wearing dark colored sunglasses, green medical gloves, a surgical mask, and carrying blue/purple floral-patterned backpack, said police in a press release.

During the course of the robbery, she displayed a black semiautomatic handgun and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of currency and lottery tickets, police said.
