Both Occupants Dead in Tyburn Rd Crash, Police say

Updated: Monday April 25 – 8:40 am 

Both occupants of Chevrolet Trailblazer that crashed Sunday evening in Falls Twp, died, said Chief of Police Nelson Whitney Monday morning.

The crash occurred at 7:30 pm Whitney said, when the Trailblazer left the roadway, flipped over in the one vehicle crash, on Tyburn Road.

“Both occupants passed away due to their sustained injuries” Whitney said.

A  vehicle accident late Sunday night has closed Tyburn Road in both directions in Falls Township.

Police and Fire rescue squads were dispatched to the area of Tyburn and Cedar Rd’s around 8:30 pm

Falls Township Police announced the roadway will be closed in both directions from Rt 13 to Bristol Pike.

One unconfirmed report says the accident involved an auto extraction, however, police on scene did not confirm that information.

How many vehicles, whether there are any injuries on the scene, and if so, how many, is unknown as of publication time.
