Fairless Hills Woman Found Philly “Safe and Sound” with Family

A happy ending for a missing person search came to fruition Tuesday morning.
Masaline Jabateh, 62 was found in Philadelphia around midnight Falls Township Police said.
She had been missing since Friday night. A boost to the investigation came Saturday morning when a local man who gave her a ride to Philadelphia spoke with police.
“She was taken to Jefferson Hospital for evaluation but is otherwise okay. Thanks to everyone for their concern and efforts to locate her and bring her safely home,” said Lt Chris Clark.
A social media post from family members said she was located “safe and sound.”



Update: Sunday October 8th, 2:35 pm
The man who picked up missing 62 year old Masaline Jabateh told Police Sunday he drove her to the Philadelphia Friday night investigators said.
“The male contacted us and advised that he drove her to 1100 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia,last night,” said Lt Chris Clark.
“We’ve received reports that she was observed in the Fairless Hills area, however none have been corroborated. Philadelphia Detectives South is assisting with disseminating a flyer to the Patrol that covers that District,” he said.
The attached picture is of her, how she was dressed when she went missing,Clark said.



Update: Sunday October 8, 2023 8 a.m. The search for a missing Fairless Hills woman and a man that police say picked her up from Giant Food Store 471 S Oxford Valley Rd on Friday, October 6, at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Here’s what we know from Falls Twp Police as of 8 am Sunday morning:
- 62 year old Masaline Jabateh. was last seen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023 at her home, located on Elmwood Road in Fairless Hills.
- A white male operating the depicted gold-colored vehicle, picked Jabateh from the Giant Food Store 471 S Oxford Valley Road – Fairless Hills Shopping Center on Friday, October 6, at approximately 6:00 p.m.
- Police released images of the man alleged to have given the missing and endangered woman the ride, however, they did not say, or specify the direction in which they went or whether or not they have located the vehicle.
- Police say the vehicle is gold in color.
“We are hoping the individual, or anyone knowing who the individual is, contacts us to aid in our efforts to locate Jabateh and bring her home safely,” Lt Chris Clark said.

Falls Township Police are looking to speak with a man they say gave Masaline Jabateh a ride from the Giant Food Store on Friday evening.
Jabateh left her residence on foot was last seen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023 at her home, located on Elmwood Road in Fairless Hills. She left her residence on foot.
“We are seeking the depicted individual, operating the depicted gold-colored vehicle, who gave Masaline Jabateh a ride from the Giant Food Store 471 S Oxford Valley Rd on Friday, October 6, at approximately 6:00 p.m.to contact us and advise where he drove her to,” Lt Chris Clark said.
