State Police Identify Man Killed I-95 Motorcycle Accident

State Police said the man killed in the motorcycle accident on I-95  Wednesday was speeding prior to the accident.

Sate Troopers said the motorcycle operated by Randy Reyes-Jaquez, 25, of Elizabeth, New Jersey was speeding on I-95 northbound as a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 37-year-old Bristol man was getting off the Bristol Exit of I-95.

State Troopers said Reyes-Jaquez was operating the motorcycle “at a high rate of speed” moving across lanes to get off the exit and cut in front of the Cruze.

The driver, from Bristol Township, of the Cruze told police he saw a large puff of dense white smoke, then hit the motorcycle, which sent it careening across the off-ramp and Reyes-Jaquez into the car’s windshield, state police said.

A LBS reader, passing the accident at the time, said there was  man in the roadway and he “looked dead.”

Reyes-Jaquez was transferred to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia by the Bucks County Rescue Squad, state police said.

State Police said at the hospital the 25 year- old was was pronounced dead.
