The Bristol woman whose dog attacked a Bristol Borough Police officer seriously injuring him is now wanted by Bucks County authorities as she failed to appear for trial on Monday.
Breighana Wolfe, 35 of Bristol, was arrested and charged after her dog attacked Bristol Police officer Mike Levitsky on Christmas Day last year seriously injuring him when he was responding to a domestic disturbance call.
Wolfe was scheduled for a jury trial Monday at the Justice Center center in Doylestown. Bucks County Judge Stephen A. Corr issued the bench warrant after she failed to appear.
The dog bit Levitsky on the face, and from the fall backwards off the stoop and onto the concrete, police said, struck his head on the ground, requiring staples to close the gash in his head. He also suffered three broken ribs, police said.

The dog was euthanized in February.
Levitsky missed a significant amount of time before returning to work. Known for his sense of humor and “paper chase” detecting skills and experience he has been a part-time officer with the department for several years.
Wolfe, is represented by Jason Rubinstein Esq. out of Fairless Hills who was not immediately available for comment.
