The outcome of Tuesday mornings fire in the Holly Hill section of Levittown could have been far worse had a neighbor not seen the fire first, warning residents.
Bristol Township fire crews were dispatched to Huckleberry Lane at 9:02 a.m. for the report of a dwelling fire.
Residents were alerted to the fire by a neighbor, Bristol Township fire officials said.
Upon arrival firefighters saw flames and thick gray smoke showing from the home and went into service, placing the blaze, according to tipsters, within 30 minutes.
No Injuries were reported, fire officials said, noting the cause was accidental.
The family was displaced due to the fire and will be staying with relatives, fire officials said.
