The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested a fugitive wanted by Bucks County authorities in multiple jurisdictions.
Christopher Plytas Jr. was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon. Plytas was wanted by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections for violation of his State Parole, the Upper Southampton Police Department for larceny, and the Middletown Police Department for burglary and Falls Twp Police.
On Monday September 28th, Plytas led Falls Township Police Officers on a high-speed chase resulting in charges of fleeing and eluding and reckless endangerment.
The fugitive task force in Philadelphia then began investigating Plytas and tracked him to a self-storage unit in the unit block of Franklin Mills Blvd in Northeast Philadelphia. Once investigators arrived, Plytas was quickly surrounded in his storage unit and arrested without incident, authorities said.
Also arrested was Skipper Wiesner, 48, who had multiple failure to appear warrants by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department, said investigators.
Both men were transported to the Upper Southampton Police Department for processing.
“Once again, the strong partnership between the U.S Marshals Service and our Bucks County law enforcement partners has resulted in the successful apprehension of a wanted fugitive. Our agencies remain committed to working together to make our communities safer,”Robert Clark, Supervisory Deputy for the Marshals Fugitive Task Force, said.
