A Morrisville man stands accused of stabbing another causing significant injuries stemming from a early morning confrontation that occurred last Friday, police say.

According to the probable cause filed by arresting Morrisville Borough Police Officer Kevin DiPaolo, on Friday, October 23, 2026, at approximately 2:16 a.m. , police responded to the area of 159 Hillcrest Ave for a stabbing report.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim lying on the roadway across from 130 Harper  Ave.  The victim was screaming in pain and shouting that he had been stabbed, police said.

The victim, according to police, had a large and deep puncture/laceration to his upper left chest and was in a state of shock. He could only give a description of a black male who allegedly stabbed him.

The victim was immediately transported to Capital Regional Hospital for treatment.

Officer Dominic Chrzanowski, a short time later, responded to the hospital to interview the victim who then identified his attacker as 38-year-old Timothy “Tim” Ross.

According to the victim, he was involved in a verbal dispute with Ross prior to the stabbing.  He told Chrzanowski that Ross walked up on him and got in his face. It was during that exchange that he felt an immense pain in his upper left chest area. When he realized he had been “stabbed,” he collapsed to the ground

The victim, according to police, sustained a deep laceration/puncture wound to his chest, punctured lung and internal bleeding. He was in the ICU for several days with a temporary chest tube.

The victim told police that Ross usually carries a knife or other sharp tool on his person.

On-call District Judge Michael W. Gallagher arraigned Ross early Wednesday morning on two counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment  and related offenses. Bail was set at 10 percent of $75,000.00 and Ross was remanded to Bucks County Jail. He is due back in court on November 10 and has no attorney of record, according to publicly available records.
