Morrisville Cops: We have a Suspect in Cemetery Vandalism Case

Borough of Morrisville Police Chief George McClay said Wednesday those responsible for the destruction of headstones at the Morrisville Cemetery will be charged soon.

Images were posted by a Morrisville resident on Monday morning depicting the vandalism where those who have died are supposed to rest peacefully.

The images of crushed and broken headstones created a sense of outrage on a popular Morrisville based Facebook page designed to share information public safety related issues and concerns

“Yes we are investigating the crime. We have a juvenile suspect and we expect to file charges shortly. We have approximately 30 headstones that were damaged” McClay said.
