From watercolor painting to candle making\, fairy gardens to mosaics\, our diverse range of classes provides endless opportunities for fun\, learning\, and self-expression. \nThe program is a drop-off program run by SLNC’s Environmental Educators. We encourage parents to minimize interactions with the class in order to reduce distractions. Parents are not required to stay on site\, but are welcome to hike the trails on their own during this time.\nOur afterschool nature art classes are designed for children aged 8-12\, with activities tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Each session focuses on a unique theme encouraging children to explore various artistic techniques and materials. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the exciting activities we have planned: \nNovember 12th\nPainting in nature: Creating watercolor paintings of our surroundings here at Silver Lake Nature Center.
