DESCRIPTION:Yardley Historical Association invites all to  a one-hour tour starting at 46 W Afton Ave. through the heart of Yardley with Historian Charlie Thomforde and a display of old photos of Yardley in the Library before and after the walk. \nFrom your organizer:  While strolling on Afton Avenue\, Canal Street and Main Street\, you will encounter the town’s evolution from a single grist mill to a thriving\, diverse community. Yardley’s three bodies of water\, its bridges\, canal boats\, trolleys\, and railroad; its people\, and life in small town Americana will all be part of the story. \nReservations are needed for the tour.
