Bristol Township is accepting applications for its Emergency Repair Program, a vital initiative designed to assist income-qualified homeowners in maintaining safe and healthy living conditions.

“Unexpected home repairs can be an overwhelming burden, and no one should have to worry about whether their home is safe,” said Bristol Twp Manager Randee J. Mazur.

“We’re proud to offer this program to help ease that stress and support our residents when they need it most.”

Eligible Emergency Repairs include:

  1. Electrical: Dangerous conditions, such as overheating, sparking wiring, or failed circuits
  2. Plumbing: Leaking or broken sewer or water service lines
  3. Heating: Necessary heater repairs or replacements
  4. Roofing: Significant leaks that have caused a 4-square-foot or larger section of the ceiling to collapse

The program offers a maximum grant of $20,000 for hard costs per household. Additional soft costs may be covered, provided the total per-unit cost does not exceed $25,000.

Eligibility Requirements:

To qualify for assistance, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Own and occupy the single-family home as their primary residence
Be current on property taxes or under a current payment agreement
    Meet established income guidelines
Not own any other residential property

How to Apply:

Interested residents can obtain the application and review full details on the Bristol Township website. Paper applications may be picked up at the Bristol Township Reception Desk at 2501 Bath Road, Bristol Township, PA 19007 from 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
