Trevose Man Travels About 1120 Miles to Stalk 14 Year-Old Social Media Influencer in Florida, Authorities Say

on

A 29-year-old Trevose man fixated on a 14-year-old Walton County, Florida  social media influencer, traveled just under 1120 miles where he confronted her father at their home is now behind bars on an array of charges.
Jarred Easter was arrested by members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigation Section (SIS) on August 18th after traveling to Florida to pursue the 14 year old teen girl,
According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Easter spent three months sending disturbing emails, nude photographs, and obsessive messages to the email account connected to the victim’s social media page. The conversations were entirely one-sided, revolving around photos the teen influencer had publicly posted.
Easter tracked the teen’s location through her online presence, investigators said,  and ultimately showed up at her Walton County residence, where he confronted her father in the driveway, asking to speak with her.
After demanding Easter leave, the father called the Walton County authorities, according to court records.
Walton County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit submitted a warrant for Easter’s arrest, and on Monday, tracked his location to a hotel in Crestview.
Investigators reached out to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office SIS for assistance, who confirmed Easter was still at the hotel and took him into custody. He was extradited to Walton County on Tuesday, August 19th.
“This was a sick-minded individual who convinced himself he had a relationship with a child,” said Sheriff Michael Adkinson. “We are grateful the victim wasn’t harmed, and we are working tirelessly to ensure there are no other victims connected to this predator. Perverts who cross state lines to target children will find themselves in handcuffs.”
Easter was charged with numerous counts of sending harmful material to a minor, traveling to meet a minor for sex, and using a computer to solicit a child. He was court-ordered to wear a GPS monitor, to have no contact with minors, have no access to the internet, and was issued a $250,000 bond. He is still incarcerated at the time of this release, according to Walton County online court records.
Subsequent to Easter’s arrest authorities are urging parents, especially those whose children have large social media followings, to be proactive in protecting their online safety. Authorities warn a digital footprint can unintentionally provide clues to a child’s location or habits.
Parents:
• Regularly monitor your child’s online accounts and direct messages.
• Encourage children NOT to share identifiable details such as school names, neighborhoods, sibling names, or frequent hangout spots.
• Use privacy settings to LIMIT who can see or comment on your child’s posts.
• Remind teens that followers are NOT friends—treat every interaction with caution.
• Report any suspicious contact immediately to law enforcement.
Investigators continues look into this case and encourages anyone with information regarding Easter’s activities to contact the Walton County Sheriff’s Office
Easter remains in custody in Walton. His next scheduled court appearance is unknown as of publication time. Walton County authorities.

Santarsiero, Prokopiak Announce State Grants for Morrisville Fire Company, Tullytown Borough & Falls Twp Little League

Published

on

Senator Steve Santarsiero (D-10) along with Representative Jim Prokopiak (D-140) announced $527,623in state funding for three projects in their respective districts.

  • $400,000 for Morrisville Fire Department for a Light Rescue/High Water Vehicle
  • $127,623 for Tullytown Borough for a dump truck
  • $150,000 for Falls Little League for LED field light upgrade

Morrisville Fire Company, a nonprofit volunteer fire company that serves Morrisville Borough and the surrounding communities, is receiving funding for a new vehicle. Due to the Borough’s proximity to the Delaware River, the fire company needs a dynamic lifted rescue truck that would take over support of the Borough’s marine and technical responses. This new truck will also assist in responses during backwater flooding in the city and snowy conditions.

“Our volunteer firefighters are heroes who put themselves on the front lines every day to keep our community safe,” said Senator Santarsiero.  “This new truck will improve the Morrisville Fire Company’s ability to respond during crises, regardless of the location or weather condition. I will continue to support getting our first responders the equipment they need to provide critical assistance to communities in times of emergency.”

“The volunteers fire fighters of Morrisville faithfully serve Morrisville, protecting lives and property every day,” said Representative Prokopiak. “The awarding of the grant for a new light rescue vehicle with the ability to traverse high water allows our first responders to help those in need, even in conditions of heavy rains and flooding.”

Tullytown Borough will be receiving a new dump truck to improve the efficiency, safety, and operational capabilities of Tullytown’s Public Works Department in managing snow removal and roadway salting operations during winter months. The new truck will be equipped with a stainless-steel dump body, plow, and salt spreader.

“Keeping our roads safe and clear is one of the basic tasks of government and I was happy to support this grant for Tullytown Borough to do just that,” said Senator Santarsiero “Especially during the winter months, it’s essential that our municipalities have the equipment they need to keep our roads in good condition.”

“Investing in modern equipment for Tullytown’s Public Works Department will improve winter road safety, enhance efficiency, and help the borough better serve residents during severe weather conditions,” said Representative Prokopiak.

The Falls Little League is receiving funds to update their field with new LED lighting through the Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program.

“Little League is about teamwork, confidence, and giving kids a place to fall in love with the game, and I’m proud to support these LED upgrades so more families can enjoy the field safely and longer into the evening,” said Senator Santarsiero. “As a lifelong baseball fan, I know how much these small but meaningful investments matter for our kids.”

“Providing opportunities for our kids to get outside, off their devices, and play is critical to our families,” said Representative Prokopiak. “This grant will allow the little league to upgrade their lights with energy efficient and money saving LED lights.”

Morrisville Woman Confronts Porch Pirate; Law Enforcement Offers Tips to Combat Package Delivery Thieves

Published

on

A Morrisville woman, according to police, just wasn’t having it, when  she confronted an alleged porch pirate which is now the focus of law enforcement with the holiday shopping season about to get into full gear.

On November 12 12:58 p.m. Morrisville Borough resident reported to police the theft of a package in the 600 block of N. Delmorr Avenue.

The victim told officers that a Hispanic male dressed in all black came up to her front door, and entered her mailbox, and took the package, and walked away.

The victim, police said, bravely went after the suspect and took the package back.

The ballsy suspect followed the victim back and grabbed the package out of her hand, and ran across the Calhoun Street Bridge into Trenton, police said.

Thankfully the woman involved was not apparently injured in her effort to take what was hers.

No word from Police if the porch pirate has been arrested as of yet.

With that in mind Bucks County authorities in a public service message are sharing tips on how to minimize the probability of becoming a potential porch pirate victim.

✅ Use secure delivery options – Many carriers offer lockers, in-store pickup, or scheduled delivery windows.

✅ Install a camera or video doorbell – Visibility alone can deter thieves.

✅ Request signature confirmation – It adds a layer of accountability.

✅ Track packages and bring them in quickly – The longer they sit outside, the higher the risk.

✅ Team up with neighbors – Watch out for each other’s deliveries. Don’t assume “it won’t happen to me.” A few proactive steps can save you stress, money, and time. What’s your go-to strategy for keeping packages safe? Share your tips on our social media pages.
