Warminster Township officials and project managers gathered at Five Ponds Golf Club to officially break ground on a new clubhouse, a major milestone for the popular municipal golf facility, last week.
Local leaders emphasized that the project will create a modern gathering place for special occasions. In addition, township supervisors confirmed that the venue will be built with no tax increase for residents.
Assistant Township Manager Jill Maier described the occasion as the start of an exciting new chapter. She presented a commemorative plaque to Board of Supervisors Chairman Ken Hayes during the ceremony. Furthermore, she praised the local government for its ongoing commitment to residents and visitors.
Hayes expressed strong gratitude for the project team and highlighted the high quality of local labor. He noted that the new facility will deliver a private country club feel within a public space. Over 35 union workers and local residents attended the gathering to show support.
Vice Chair Kathy Frescatore thanked the staff and union representatives who are building the facility. Therefore, she looks forward to seeing the community use the venue for weddings and family gatherings.
Spirit Golf General Manager Marley Ciarlante spoke on behalf of facility management. She emphasized that the course has served the community well for nearly four decades. As a result, the new building will build directly upon that long history of success.

Six primary contractors won competitive bids to construct the new event facility under local ordinances. Specifically, E.P. Guidi Incorporated will serve as the general contractor for the major construction phase. Palomino Roofing, H and W Mechanical Services, Palman Electric, Tandem Associates, and A and S Sprinkler Company will complete the remaining specialty work.
Meanwhile, the 18-hole golf course will remain fully open for play throughout the entire construction process. Management is currently accepting names for an event waiting list as interest builds for the new space.
