Lower Makefield’s 2020 Road Paving Program Launches

Lower Makefield Townships 2020 paving program begins this morning with milling work starting on Haycock Road. 

The approximately $900,000 bid approved by the Board of Supervisors  from James D. Morrissey, Inc. for road paving and repairs of is expected to be completed in June, said officials. 

Paving of Haycock Rd is scheduled for Friday.

Roads also scheduled for work are:

 Cultipacker Rd; Harrow Rd; Flail Dr; Drill Rd; Combine Ln; Harvest Dr; Silo Rd (from Combine to Disk); Stapler Dr; Planter Dr; Farmal Ct; Reaper Ct; Rose Hollow Dr; Trellis Ct; Thrush Ct; Esther Ln; and Jack Rd will be milled and overlayed, township officials said. 

ADA curb ramps and storm-water inlet repairs will also be completed as part of the contract. 

Flaggers will be in place to direct motorists while milling work takes place.  Work is weather dependent and updates will be provided as needed, officials said.
