PennDOT announced that bridge demolition will occur this week on northbound I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia beginning after Thursday’s morning rush.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Thursday, October 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., a lane closure is planned on northbound I-95 at the Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
