Bristol First Responders to Spend Day with 21st Century Campers

21st Century campers at Snyder-Girotti Elementary School will be visited by Bristol Borough First Respomders followed by Officers from the Police Department giving out snow cones and pretzels on Tuesday.
First, Boro First Respomders will meet with campers and go over the steps of how to contact them should an emergency arise for example.
The Bucks County Rescue Squad will provide campers with tours of a rescue squad ambulance and go over rescue breathing skills with campers.
Bristol Borough fire fighters speak to campers about fire safety.
The happening is a way for Borough children to form bonds with the community’s first responders officials say.
Last year’s emergency services day was also a way of introducing elementary School Resource Officer Ashley Beck to Borough students.
Campers will be provided with snow cones and pretzels after the meet and greet concludes. Bristol Borough officers will then meet area children to give out snow cones and pretzels at two locations
- Buckley and Spruce Streets — 12:30 pm to 1 pm
