Morrisville Police officer Accepts Plea Deal for Summary Offense in New Jersey Case



On Tuesday a Morrisville Police officer pleaded guilty to a public nuisance offense and had his other charges dismissed in Monmouth County Municipal Court in New Jersey.
John Aspromonti, agreed to plea deal on one summary count of public nuisance.
Aspromonti was accused of “digging out” a sign and fleeing the area on his boat on September 5. in Briellle Borough
Days later, the charges were changed with two offenses dropped -disorderly conduct and criminal mischief- and the addition of reckless boating and unauthorized use of an island.
According to Monmouth County court records, Aspromonti paid a fine of $549 as part of the plea agreement. .
