Nearby: Feasterville Man Demands Keys to Victim’s Car in Supermarket Parking Lot, Charged

A Feasterville man has been charged with robbery and related offenses for pulling a knife on a man and demanding his car keys in a supermarket parking lot.

Lower Southampton Police say Jesse Boyle, 40, was arrested last week after an officer was dispatched to the Acme parking for a possible domestic situation report that came in just before 11 p.m. last Monday.

Police say a foot chase occurred across the parking lot, and into a wooded area that ended when J Boyle was taken into custody near Grandview Avenue.

Police interviewed the victim, who said he didn’t know the suspect who harassed him while in Acme. The victim told police, that after leaving the store, Boyle approached him while putting his groceries into his car, when he pulled a knife and demanded the keys to the victims car.

Police say, Boyle also threatened to kill the victim during the incident.

Boyle was charged for robbery and nine other related offenses and was arraigned by District Justice Kelly. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison after failing to post 10% of a $100,000 bail.

He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on August 4th.
