Nearby: Police Seek info on Suspect in Back -to Back Robberies



Police in Warminster Township are searching high and low for a suspect who they say robbed two businesses’ before noon on Friday.
Police were dispatched to Minutemen Press on the 500 block of North York Road, for a ‘robbery in progress,’ complaint.
The victim told police that at around 11 am a white male, about 40, standing 5’9 wearing a hoodie and mask entered the shop, demanded money while threatening to have a firearm.
Witness also told police the suspect was sporting a patch of hair on the left side of his balding head, said Police
Police said the suspect onto south York road with an undetermined amount of cash.
While officers were conducting the first robbery investigation, at approximately 11:10 hours Police were dispatched to 590 W. Street Road, Dunkin Donuts, for a report of a second “robbery in progress,” said investigators.
A victim from the Dunkin reported a similar white male entered the store demanding money, but had fled prior to getting any cash.
The suspect was last seen running out of the back of the store into the Speedway section of Warminster Township.
During both robbery investigations, Police with the help of Bucks County Police Radio, contacted both Nativity of Our Lords Grade School and Archbishop Wood High School and requested both schools go into lockdown while the investigation was evolving and ongoing.
Police notified the schools they could lift the lock down just before 1 pm.
Police said in the case of the Dunkin Donuts robbery, a witness reported seeing the suspect hanging around the area before the robberies.
Warminster Police are actively seeking the public’s help in this matter.
Anyone who may have encountered the actor in the area, knows the actor, or may have security camera footage in the area of either the robbery’s or Speedway section of the Twp are asked to call at Police (215) 672-1000.
